Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the educational landscape. From intelligent teaching systems that adapt to individual learning styles to data-driven assessment methods that provide real-time feedback, AI is showing immense potential across various educational contexts. This study analyzes recent academic literature and practical cases to systematically review AI’s applications in primary, secondary, higher, and lifelong education, while also addressing technical, ethical, and policy-related challenges. It concludes with strategic suggestions to promote fairness, safeguard data privacy, and enhance teacher preparedness. Although AI’s potential in education is significant, itssustainable development requires scientific guidance, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and sound regulation. For instance, AI-powered personalized learning platforms can tailor educational content to meet the unique needs of each student, thereby improving engagement and outcomes. Additionally, AI-driven analytics can help educators identify at-risk students early, allowing for timely interventions. However, the integration of AI in education raises concerns about data security, algorithmic bias, and the digital divide. Addressing these issues necessitates robust ethical frameworks, transparent data practices, and inclusive policies that ensure equitable access to AI technologies. Strategic recommendations include investing in teacher training programs that focus on AI literacy, establishing clear guidelines for data usage, and fostering partnerships between educational institutions, tech companies, and policymakers to create a supportive ecosystem for AI in education.
