Abstract

In recent years, the number of crimes committed by minors and the proportion of late-adult offenders to the total number of criminal offenders in Chengdu City have shown a year-on-year decline, but the problem of late-adult crime is still serious. Through the discussion of the white paper on the work of the Procuratorate for Minors in Chengdu City in 2021-2023, we summarize and analyze the current situation and main features of juvenile crimes of urbanites, as well as the influencing factors and subjective and objective reasons for crimes committed by late-adults, put forward aspects of juvenile crimes in Chengdu City that are worth paying attention to at present, and put forward countermeasures and suggestions for the prevention of crimes committed by late-adults from the levels of families, schools and societies.
