Abstract

This study aims to thoroughly examine the impact of social resource control on educational equity. Through literature review, case analysis, and comparative research methods, it comprehensively explores how disparities in social resource control affect various dimensions of educational equity. The findings reveal that differences in social resource control significantly influence access to educational opportunities, process fairness, and outcome equity. For instance, high-income families leverage abundant material resources, information networks, and connections to secure better admission opportunities and educational resources for their children, while low-income households face resource scarcity. Based on these insights, the study proposes policy recommendations including optimizing social resource allocation mechanisms, improving institutional frameworks, and implementing targeted measures at both school and family levels. These strategies aim to address educational equity issues caused by uneven resource distribution, providing theoretical and practical references for advancing educational equity.
