Abstract

As populations age globally, the application of smart home technology in elderly care services has garnered significant attention. This research employed a combination of online questionnaires and offline interviews to collect data, investigating the purchasing demographics and factors influencing the acquisition of smart home products. Findings indicate that ease of operation and safety assurances play crucial roles in consumers' decision-making processes. Differences exist among various demographics regarding their focus on health management functions, home security features, and price sensitivity. Based on the realities and needs of different groups, this study proposes a series of specific recommendations, including interface optimization, dialect voice recognition, and financial subsidies. These measures can promote the integration of the smart elderly care industry and foster sustainable market development. Furthermore, these research findings provide valuable reference points for enterprises to refine their products and for governments to formulate policies.
