This study takes a student from Wenzhou Polytechnic with autism spectrum disorder as the research object, systematically exploring the whole process of psychological crisis intervention for college students with special psychological needs. The student faced multiple challenges, including weak self-care ability, poor living habits, tense interpersonal relationships, and extreme psychological tendencies accompanied by dangerous behaviors. Through a series of intervention measures such as early problem detection, multi-party collaborative assistance, and rapid emergency response, the college effectively curbed the deterioration of the crisis and ensured the student's life safety and physical and mental health. This case study analyzes the background, response strategies, and practical effects of the intervention in detail, and summarizes three core insights: strengthening early warning mechanisms to build a solid safety line for student psychological health, integrating multi-party forces (school, family, and professional institutions) to form educational synergy, and implementing precise interventions based on students' individual needs. The research provides practical reference and experience for college ideological and political workers to carry out psychological crisis intervention work, and contributes to the improvement of the comprehensive psychological support system in higher education institutions.
